US Labor Secretary Announces Investigation Targets

U.S. Labor Secretary Keith Sonderling announced the suspension, citing ongoing criminal and federal investigations into eight major Indian IT and outsourcing firms, including Infosys, Tata, Wipro, HCL, Cognizant, Capgemini, Microsoft and Adobe. The probes date back to 2009 and involve more than 2.3  lakh approved H‑1B petitions and over 1  lakh PERM certifications.
