UN Geneva Welcomes Four Blue and One White Peacock from India

The United Nations office in Geneva announced the arrival of five peacocks sent by India, marking the continuation of a historic gifting practice. Director Tatiana Valovaya noted that the colors of the birds echo the UN’s own blue and white palette. The peacocks are temporarily housed in the expansive aviary of Ariana Park, where they will adapt to the new environment before being granted free movement across the Palace des Nations complex in three months.
