UN Charter's Enemy-State Article Remains Vital, China Warns

The Chinese delegation highlighted that the enemy‑state article was drafted to prevent the resurgence of fascist and militarist regimes. More than eight decades later, it still offers an institutional guarantee against threats to peace.
