The UAE framed the arrangement as a cornerstone for ending the fighting, enhancing regional stability and initiating a political process that could lead to a sustainable peace settlement. The deal outlines a step‑by‑step handover of arms to an international stabilization force of roughly 5,000 personnel, supervised by a U.S. general, alongside a phased pull‑back of Israeli troops, deployment of peacekeepers and the establishment of a new Palestinian police force. According to Emirati officials, these steps will ease civilian hardship, stop ongoing violence and provide the necessary conditions for large‑scale reconstruction efforts in Gaza.
