Speaking after recent talks with both President Vladimir Putin and President Volodymyr Zelensky, Trump said he was confident that the two leaders now wanted to end the conflict.

He made these comments ahead of a NATO summit, after a bilateral meeting in Ankara with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Trump claimed that his extensive discussions with Putin and Zelensky gave him hope for concrete progress in the coming weeks.
