Tractor-Trailer Crash in Punjab Results in Seven Deaths and Sixty Injuries

On Saturday night, a tractor‑trailer lost control near the Jheir Pir area of Rahim Yar Khan district in Punjab, causing a catastrophic collision. Seven people lost their lives, while around sixty others were injured. Local police reported that the trailer driver’s negligence was the primary cause and that many of the passengers were traveling to attend a wedding. Injured victims were rushed to Sheikh Jayed Hospital, where four died before reaching the facility and three more passed away during treatment.
