Three Indian nationals perish in suspected arson attack in Germany

A tragic fire on the second floor of a Bochum housing complex has left three Indian students dead. The deceased included two young women and a young man, all studying at German institutions. Investigators suspect the blaze was set deliberately, leading to the arrest of a 41‑year‑old Romanian citizen.

India's embassy in Berlin, together with its consulate in Frankfurt, has expressed deep sympathy to the bereaved families and is providing consular assistance. Additional occupants were hurt in the incident and are currently receiving medical care.
