Temporary Camps Shelter Thousands Amid Ongoing Disaster

In response to the displacement caused by the earthquakes, authorities have set up 25 active temporary camps across the country. These include 13 sites in La Guaira, eight in Caracas, two in Miranda, one in Carabobo and one in Yaracuy. Each camp is being equipped rapidly with basic amenities, food supplies and medical kits to accommodate the growing number of families seeking refuge. Officials report that 86,117 households have already benefited from these provisional settlements.
