Tehran says US attacks will meet strong Iranian response

Iran's foreign ministry issued a statement on Saturday accusing the United States of breaking the June cease‑fire deal by continuing attacks on Iranian positions, disrupting commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz and increasing economic pressure. The ministry said the United States' actions are illegal and vowed to protect Iran's dignity and independence.

Araghchi added that any hostile move by Washington or Israel, as well as any regional cooperation supporting such actions, will be answered with a decisive response from the Iranian armed forces.
