    26/11 The way for extradition of Tawwur Rana, accused of Mumbai terror attack, has been cleared. The Supreme Court of America (United States) has dismissed a petition seeking to ban extradition. This was Rana’s last petition. The way to avoid extradition of Tahawwur Hussain Rana has been completely closed. Rana approached the court to avoid extradition. 64 -year -old Canadian citizen Tawwur Rana is currently closed at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Los Angeles.

    On February 27, Rana submitted an emergency application to stop the pending trial of the ‘the prison corpus petition ‘to the US Supreme Court Associate Judge and the Circuit Judge of the Ninth Circuit Elena Kagan, which Kagan rejected the application earlier last month. After this, Rana renewed his application and requested that renewed application be sent to Chief Justice Roberts.

    In his petition filed in the US Supreme Court, Tawwur Rana had said, I can be harassed if I was extradited to India. I will not be able to live in India. I am of Pakistani origin. I am a Muslim. I may face more harassment in India.

    Accused Rana further said that the Government of India is behaving like a dictator. So it is certain that I will be arrested after my extradition. I have many diseases. It has a disease like Parkinson. Therefore, I should not be sent to a place where I have to face problems of problems.
