Suicide Bomb Blast in Swat Kills Seven Police Officers and 17 Civilians

On August 2, a suicide bomber detonated an explosive at the Kabal Police Station in Swat District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, killing seven police officers and 17 civilians. Dozens of others were injured. Security forces cordoned the area, launched an investigation and deployed additional troops to prevent further attacks.
