Strategic Partnership with Uzbekistan Strengthened During Fourth Visit

During his fourth official trip to Uzbekistan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will engage President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in a series of delegate‑level talks designed to cement a deeper strategic partnership. The agenda covers economic cooperation, defence ties, digital connectivity initiatives, energy projects, and joint educational programmes. Both sides will assess progress on existing schemes and set a roadmap for future collaboration that supports India’s long‑term development vision for 2047 and Uzbekistan’s 2030 objectives. The visit also includes a cultural stop at the Shastri Memorial and a meeting at the Mahatma Gandhi Centre of the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies.
