Strategic Partnership Strengthened as US Diplomat Engages with Indian Security Advisor

In a series of high‑profile discussions in New Delhi, U.S. Ambassador Sergio Gor met National Security Adviser Ajit Dobhal to reinforce the strategic bond between Washington and New Delhi. The pair examined joint efforts required to tackle global threats, from maritime security in the Indo‑Pacific to emerging cyber‑warfare risks.

Gor stressed that a close partnership is indispensable for maintaining peace and stability worldwide. He highlighted that both nations are moving toward an increasingly integrated security framework.

Earlier on Monday, Gor had a productive session with Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, a meeting he later referenced on X as “always a pleasure.”

The ambassador also took the opportunity to speak with Rajya Sabha member Milind Devda, focusing on expanding economic cooperation, especially in trade and investment sectors.

Concluding the diplomatic itinerary, Gor congratulated Netflix co‑CEO Ted Sarandos on a ten‑year milestone in India, underscoring how cultural and technological collaborations support the broader strategic relationship.
