In the bilateral meeting, Modi and President Subianto will review progress made since the 2018 Comprehensive Strategic Partnership was announced. The discussion will concentrate on expanding cooperation in defence and maritime security, boosting trade in critical minerals, ensuring food security for both nations, and accelerating collaboration in the digital economy.
Both sides have expressed a desire to translate the partnership into concrete projects, such as joint naval exercises, technology sharing platforms, and supply‑chain initiatives for rare earth materials. The leaders are also expected to sign a suite of new MoUs that will formalise these commitments.
