Strategic Hormuz Passage reopens for Qatar Energy LNG carrier

Shipping companies report that the Hormuz Strait, a crucial artery for crude oil and LNG, has witnessed a resurgence of activity after weeks of near‑standstill. A Qatar Energy‑controlled liquefied natural gas tanker, Al Arish, successfully navigated the strait on the night of July 29‑30. Data from marine monitoring services indicate this is the first such vessel to exit the corridor since July 11. After loading LNG at the Ras Laffan terminal, the tanker is now proceeding to Pakistan’s Port Qasim, with an estimated arrival on July 31.
