Seoul stresses stability on Korean peninsula at regional security forum

The South Korean minister underlined how peace and stability on the peninsula are directly linked to the security and prosperity of the wider Asia‑Pacific region. He appealed to all ARF participants to support initiatives that curb nuclear proliferation and missile development on the Korean island, and to enforce United Nations Security Council resolutions. Cho also pledged South Korea's continued contribution to ARF activities, including co‑chairing inter‑sessional meetings on counter‑terrorism and transnational crime.
