Security Tightened for Khamenei Burial; International Dignitaries Attend

Iran’s state broadcaster reported that the Grand Mosalla in Tehran hosted a highly secured funeral for Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, attended by top political and judicial figures. President Masoud Pejshaei, parliamentary speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, chief justice Gholam‑Hossein Mohseni‑Ejei, and the Expediency Council chairman Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani were present. International delegations included India’s State Minister Pavitra Margaret and Bihar Governor Lt. Gen (Retd) Syed Ata Hasnain, as well as Russian Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, who traveled to Tehran to join the tribute.
