Details Emerge of Netanyahu’s Unannounced Trip to the United Arab Emirates

Abu Dhabi – A confidential visit by Israel’s premier Benjamin Netanyahu to the United Arab Emirates has now been corroborated by the Emirati government’s own news outlet. The report disclosed that President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received Netanyahu on Sunday for a series of talks that lasted around six hours. Present at the meeting were top‑level security personnel, including the head of the National Security Council, the director of Mossad, the military secretary and a chief foreign‑policy advisor. According to insiders, the core agenda was Iran’s regional activity and ways the two allies could coordinate their response. Earlier statements from the UAE had denied any such encounter earlier in the year, despite rumors of a covert meeting in March near the Omani border. The Israeli Prime Minister’s Office later confirmed the trip on X, stating that the purpose was to deepen diplomatic ties and discuss mutual concerns. The disclosure prompted Israel’s internal security agency to file a complaint against a television broadcaster that leaked details before Netanyahu’s aircraft had cleared Israeli airspace, arguing that the premature exposure endangered the delegation.
