Saints Call Israeli Cleric's Cow Comment Ignorant, Urge Action

Ayodhya, October 31: Several seers in Ayodhya Dham have reacted sharply to an offensive comment on Gau Mata made by an Israeli religious leader, with some demanding an apology and others calling for disciplinary measures.

Jagadguru Paramhans Acharya Ji Maharaj, Peethadhishwar of the Tapasvi Chhavni, said that a religious leader in Israel making such remarks could not truly represent the culture of that nation. He recalled that Indian pilots had recently risked their lives to rescue Israeli citizens, and said India's response had been one of cooperation and compassion.

Mahant Sitaram Das Ji Maharaj described the statement as full of ignorance, foolishness and lack of understanding. He said the cow is revered in Sanatan tradition as the mother of the world. He suggested that the cleric himself consume cow urine, which he said is beneficial for health and capable of removing negative thinking.

He further said that milk, curd, urine and dung of the cow are sacred substances. In his view, those who criticise them are misguided and will eventually face the consequences of their words.

Mahamandaleshwar Vishnu Das Ji Maharaj stated that the Israeli leader does not seem to follow any faith, including his own. He said the mockery of the cow was highly condemnable and that such attitudes encourage extremism and terror-like behaviour.

Acharya Ji Maharaj made a direct demand to the Prime Minister of Israel, speaking from Ayodhya Dham, the birthplace of Lord Shri Ram. He asked that the religious leader either apologise or be subjected to strict action. He emphasised that Indian culture has always upheld the values of peace and universal brotherhood.

Ashta Kaushal Mahant Yoganand Giri Maharaj also criticised the remark, calling it an extreme display of shamelessness and noting that Sanatan tradition has existed far longer than any living generation.
