Romanian police and rescue teams worked closely with the Indian diplomatic mission after the MV Royad Mammadov was struck in the Black Sea.
The embassy representative met the three Indians, two of whom were placed in a nearby hotel, while the third remained in Constanta County Hospital for ongoing treatment.
Local authorities, the shipping company's Romanian agent and the attending physicians were briefed on the survivors' needs, and the embassy pledged continued logistical and medical support.
