Retaliatory Attack Targets US F‑35 Parking and Maintenance Hangers, IRGC Reports

New Delhi, July 30 – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps' aerospace division said it executed a “precise” missile operation against the Al‑Azraq air base in Jordan, a strategic hub for U.S. air power in the region. The force claimed three American F‑35 fighter jets were completely destroyed, while three others sustained significant damage. The statement also insisted that several U.S. servicemen were killed when the missiles struck the base’s parking and maintenance facilities.

The IRGC further accused the United States of using “occupied” Jordanian sites to conduct operations against Iranian interests. Alongside the air‑base strike, the Corps said it launched bunker‑buster munitions at two residential structures on Kish Island, killing a child and his parents and wounding two other children.

The claim came after the United States carried out a series of missile attacks on Thursday targeting the southern Iranian provinces of Kish Island, Bushehr, Fars and Khuzestan. Iranian media reported explosions in Hormozgan and Khuzestan, confirming damage in Kish Island’s “Rikshayesh” area.

U.S. Central Command reported that its forces began a coordinated response at 8 p.m., describing the operation as a “targeted retaliation” aimed at neutralizing Iranian aggression while minimizing civilian casualties.
