Melania Trump Calls for Responsible Use of AI and Emerging Tech in Schools

Speaking to a crowd of diplomats and education officials, Melania Trump stressed that access to cutting‑edge technology must be paired with ethical instruction. She cited artificial intelligence, video‑calling platforms, mobile computers, autonomous vehicles, virtual reality and biometric systems as examples that have moved from science‑fiction to everyday classrooms.

"AI is reshaping every sector and unlocking the largest repository of human knowledge ever created," the First Lady noted. "But access alone does not empower. We must give children the tools and the wisdom to apply them wisely."

The initiative, launched at the 80th UN session, now targets a broader coalition of governments and private partners, aiming to create a global standard for responsible tech education.
