Rescue Operations Continue as Severe Storms Damage Homes Across Balochistan

The monsoon season has left a trail of destruction across Balochistan. Apart from the roof collapses in Jhob and Khuzdar, Khuzdar district recorded a child’s death and four additional injuries when a house was struck by falling debris. Across the province, strong winds uprooted trees, ripped down hoardings and damaged mud houses, while power outages persisted in Quetta and surrounding areas. Rescue 1122 spokesperson Farooq Ahmed confirmed that similar incidents in neighboring Punjab resulted in two more fatalities and nine injuries. Authorities continue to assess structural damage and provide temporary shelter for displaced families.
