Putin Holds Constructive Talks With U.S. Envoys on Ukraine and Economics

Kremlin adviser Yuri Ushakov told reporters that President Vladimir Putin engaged in a "very open, constructive and serious" discussion with American envoys Steve Vickoff and Jared Kushner in Moscow. The meeting covered the Ukraine conflict, a detailed assessment of Russia's special military operation, and confidence that stated objectives will be met. Ushakov noted that the dialogue also moved beyond the battlefield to include economic topics and potential large‑scale projects that could benefit both Russia and the United States.

The three‑hour‑ten‑minute session concluded with an agreement that both presidents will maintain direct contact and continue negotiations through the U.S. representatives. Ushakov added that the envoys will convey Putin’s viewpoints to the Ukrainian side during upcoming meetings in Kyiv.
