President Sisi Confirms 2030 as End of His Presidency

At a ceremony marking the graduation of cadets from the Military Academy in the sprawling New Administrative Capital, Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah al‑Sisi made clear that his presidency will conclude in 2030 and that he will not pursue another candidacy. He added that the constitution, which sets a maximum of two terms, will not be amended for his benefit.
