President Aoun to Meet US Secretary of State and Senate Leaders During Washington Trip

On Monday, President Aoun will convene a formal session with Secretary of State Marco Rubio, covering bilateral cooperation, economic assistance, and diplomatic coordination on regional security.

Following the briefing, the Lebanese head of state will attend a series of meetings with members of the U.S. Senate and senior officials from the administration. Topics are expected to include humanitarian aid, reconstruction projects in Lebanon, and the role of the United Nations.

These engagements aim to deepen the strategic partnership between Washington and Beirut, reinforcing U.S. support for Lebanon’s sovereignty and democratic institutions.
