Polish Prime Minister Tusk calls emergency meeting following Russian missile strike

Poland’s Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced on X that the explosion occurred while Russia was launching a massive missile barrage against Ukraine.

He confirmed that an emergency coordination team, comprising the defence minister and relevant agencies, was assembled immediately after the airspace violation.

The team has been on the ground for several hours, continuously updating officials on the unfolding situation.

Tusk stressed the importance of solidarity with Ukraine and urged EU partners to reinforce collective security measures.
