Polish Finance Minister Andrej Domanski Outlines Economic Agenda for India Trip

During a one‑on‑one meeting with India’s commerce minister, Polish finance minister Andrej Domanski indicated that the upcoming October visit will be driven by a clear set of economic priorities.

He confirmed that the Polish delegation will consist of leaders from about one hundred companies across sectors such as clean‑energy, information technology, industrial production and food processing.

Domanski highlighted Poland’s rapid economic expansion, projecting a 3.5‑3.6% growth rate for the year, and described India as a “key strategic partner” in Asia.

The minister said that defence collaboration holds significant upside, given Poland’s ongoing modernisation of its armed forces. He also announced that Polish space firms will double their investment in the sector and are keen to bring their capabilities to Indian partners.

Beyond trade, Domanski underlined the importance of India’s democratic ethos as a long‑term pillar for stable, mutually beneficial relations.
