Police Hunt Gunman After Random Shooting Injures Youths in Valence

Valence police launched a manhunt Tuesday night after an unidentified shooter fired an assault rifle at a group of teenagers. The attack, which occurred around 22:30 local time, left six victims between 15 and 22 years old, two of whom are reported to be in a serious state. All the injured have been admitted to medical facilities. The gunman jumped into a vehicle and fled the area. Investigators are still working to determine the shooter’s identity and motive. A burnt car found a short distance from the scene may be connected to the escape.
