Polar Partnerships with Japan and South Korea Highlighted at Arctic Assembly

He proposed joint expeditions, shared use of research facilities, systematic exchange of observations and the development of comparative methodologies for Arctic‑Himalaya studies. The minister also called for increased mobility of young scientists between the three nations, suggesting that the upcoming International Polar Year 2032‑33 could serve as a launchpad for long‑term cooperative projects and capacity‑building programmes.
