Poland Welcomes Indian FM for Talks on Politics, Trade and Security

In Warsaw, Indian Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar is scheduled to engage in high‑level discussions with his Polish counterpart, Deputy Prime Minister Radoslaw Sikorski. The talks will focus on political alignment, economic partnership, and strategic security collaboration.

Officials from both ministries highlighted the importance of exchanging perspectives on regional geopolitics, mutual interests, and future joint initiatives. The dialogue is expected to produce concrete steps for expanding trade, boosting investment flows, and enhancing defence cooperation.

The meeting also serves as an opportunity to review the progress made since the July talks between Indian Secretary (West) Sibi George and senior Polish officials, where a broad spectrum of cooperation areas was reaffirmed.

Following the Warsaw agenda, Jaishankar will head to Ukraine, where a meeting with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Symonenko has been arranged.
