PM Anwar’s Ongoing Back and Shoulder Issues Prompt Hospital Stay on 79th Birthday

Kuala Lumpur – On the occasion of his 79th birthday, Malaysia’s prime minister Anwar Ibrahim was admitted to a local hospital for monitoring and treatment related to his long‑standing back and shoulder problems. A senior aide said doctors may keep the leader under observation for up to two days while they complete a series of investigations.
