According to local daily reports, the PPDA’s ultimatum follows a meeting on August 7 in which Chairman Malik presented a detailed grievance list to Petroleum Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik. The dealers highlighted the “Company Allocation Policy” as discriminatory and called for an immediate, transparent review. They warned that if the government does not meet their demands – chiefly an eight‑percent retail margin increase – fuel stations will remain closed indefinitely from the morning of August 15.
