Petrol and Diesel Spike; Truckers Report Losses

Lahore – A sudden spike in petrol and high‑speed diesel prices has left Pakistan's trucking industry reeling. The All Pakistan Goods Transport Owners Association reported that the recent increase of 4.10 rupees per litre for petrol and 6.41 rupees for diesel, on top of existing levies, has pushed operating costs beyond sustainable levels.

Many operators are now reporting negative margins and are forced to suspend deliveries, threatening supply chains across the country.
