Oman's Modern Training Facilities Toured by Indian IAF Delegation

As part of the Muscat visit, the Indian Air Force delegation received an in‑depth tour of Oman’s advanced air‑crew training centres and aircraft maintenance bays. Officials showcased the latest simulators, runway safety systems and logistics hubs that support the Royal Air Force of Oman’s operational readiness.

Indian officers examined Omani training curricula that blend classroom theory with live‑flight exercises, noting several techniques that could be adapted for use at Indian training schools. The delegation also inspected maintenance hangars equipped with predictive diagnostic tools, a technology that Indian maintenance crews are keen to adopt.

The visit concluded with a bilateral memorandum of understanding to facilitate periodic visits by Indian trainees to Omani facilities, fostering skill transfer and encouraging joint research on emerging aviation technologies.
