Oman Assists Rescue of GFS Galaxy, India Calls for Safe Maritime Routes

Omani authorities have been praised by India for their swift coordination during the rescue of the GFS Galaxy’s crew. The Indian embassy in Muscat is maintaining close contact with the rescue teams and providing logistical support.

India’s foreign ministry urged all regional actors to cease targeting commercial vessels and civilian infrastructure. It called for the restoration of unrestricted navigation and trade in accordance with international law, highlighting the need for diplomatic dialogue to defuse tensions in the Red Sea.
