Olympic Gold Medalists Sun and Wang Lead China to Nagoya 2026 Games

China's Asian Games delegation includes a stellar lineup of Olympic champions. Table tennis stars Sun Yingsha and Wang Manyu, diving legends Chen Yuxi and Wang Zongyuan, gymnast Zou Qianyu, canoe sprint ace Sun Mangya, and weightlifter Li Wenwen – all multiple gold medalists from the Tokyo and Paris Olympics – are confirmed for Nagoya.

These athletes will join 815 teammates across 38 sports, aiming to translate their global success into Asian Games dominance. Their presence adds a high‑profile edge to China's campaign, with expectations of adding numerous gold medals to the country's tally.

The seasoned champions will compete alongside a large group of debutants, providing mentorship and experience as the Games unfold from September 19 to October 4, 2026.
