NYT Report on PoJK Called Misleading by Indian Embassy

Following a New York Times article that described unrest in Pakistan‑occupied Jammu‑Kashmir using terminology deemed incorrect, the Indian Embassy in the United States lodged a formal objection on 29 July. The embassy labeled the headline "misleading and inaccurate," stating there is no such entity as "Pakistani Kashmir"—only PoJK, which remains an integral part of India alongside Ladakh. It accused Pakistan of maintaining illegal occupation and committing violence against residents.
