Nimroz Police Report Over 400 kg of Opium and Methamphetamine Confiscated

In the western province of Nimroz, anti‑narcotics commander Maulvi Ismatullah Ahmad disclosed that law‑enforcement agencies have seized more than 400 kilograms of illegal substances in the past week alone. The haul includes 84 kilograms of opium, 130 kilograms of methamphetamine, and over 200 kilograms of other precursors used to produce heroin and opium derivatives. Seven individuals suspected of involvement in the trafficking operation have been taken into custody. The province's police emphasized that the crackdown is part of a broader national campaign to eradicate drug production and distribution.
