Nigerian journalist Sarafina Christopher expressed optimism about BRICS evolving into a powerful global force. Having followed the bloc since its inception, she remarked that this summit is the largest to date, drawing not only member states but also numerous partner countries. Nigeria, as a designated partner, anticipates that the summit will revitalize bilateral relations and expand trade volumes.

Indonesian freelance reporter Mega Me Wahidawati added that cultural affinity reinforces economic cooperation. She highlighted the shared linguistic roots—Indonesia's currency "rupiah" and India's "rupee"—and noted the commonality in the country names, suggesting a deep historical connection that can facilitate stronger commerce.
