New roadmap to boost tech‑driven farming between India and the Netherlands

India and the Netherlands are set to roll out a comprehensive roadmap aimed at accelerating tech‑driven agriculture. The plan, discussed in a recent ministerial meeting, will target enhanced research collaboration, rapid adoption of cutting‑edge farming equipment and the scaling up of seed innovation programs.

Key highlights include the expansion of existing excellence centres, which have already facilitated the spread of protected cultivation and precision farming techniques. Both governments pledged to create a dedicated task force that will monitor progress, allocate resources and ensure that the joint initiatives align with each country's long‑term agricultural goals.
