New cultural business models drive growth for China’s large‑scale cultural firms

Beijing – Sixteen sub‑sectors that embody the features of emerging cultural business models generated 35.239 trillion yuan in the first half of the year. That amount is 9.6 percent higher than the same period a year earlier and exceeds the growth rate of all large cultural enterprises by 5.0 percentage points. The contribution lifted the overall revenue growth of the large‑scale cultural sector by 4.5 percentage points, underscoring the impact of innovative commercial formats.
