New Chiefs Named for IRGC, Navy and Basij under Iran’s Leader

Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei used his authority to install new leadership at the helm of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, its naval branch, and the Basij volunteer militia. Major General Ahmad Vahidi now commands the IRGC, while Major General Mustafa Izadi assists as deputy commander‑in‑chief. Rear Admiral Ali Ojmaei has been tasked with directing IRGC naval operations.
