New Chapter in Diplomacy at SCO Summit 2025: Modi, Putin, and Jinping on One Stage

A new chapter in global diplomacy unfolded in Tianjin, China. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and Chinese President Xi Jinping, the host, were seen together on the SCO Summit stage. All SCO member states were present together on one platform during the group photo session. President Xi Jinping welcomed PM Modi when he arrived at the SCO Summit. His wife, Peng Liyuan, was also present. After the photo session, PM Modi shook hands with Jinping and his wife, with both leaders appearing joyful. The presidents of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan were also present between PM Modi and Putin. The world closely watched the SCO group photo session. After meeting with Jinping, PM Modi met with leaders from several countries, including the Maldives and Nepal.
