Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the growing friction in a video posted on X, reiterating that Israel will not accept a Turkish military build‑up in Syria that could endanger Israeli forces. Referring to the recent Israeli air strike on the Abu al‑Duhur airbase in Idlib, Netanyahu said the operation was a clear message that Damascus’ allowance of Turkish units on Syrian soil is unacceptable.
