Following an Israeli Air Force operation targeting Houthi positions in Yemen, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that Israel will continue to strike its adversaries. He noted that the Air Force had struck multiple locations in Yemen, including the capital, Sana’a, and the northern province of Al Jawf, targeting military camps used for planning attacks against Israel, a fuel depot, and a propaganda center. Netanyahu declared that Israel would retaliate against anyone who attacks it. The IDF confirmed the attacks, which it described as targeting sites used for planning and executing operations against Israel. The Air Force described the raid as its longest mission since the war’s outbreak, covering over 2,350 kilometers, involving over ten fighter jets and deploying over thirty munitions. Defense Minister Israel Katz praised the action, calling it another painful blow against the Houthis. Since March 18, the Houthis have launched numerous missiles and drones toward Israeli territory. Houthi militants have also targeted vessels in the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, disrupting a key maritime route. The conflict began with a Hamas attack on October 7, leading to Israeli military operations.
