Local district officials in Dharchula reported that an Indian military helicopter penetrated deep into Nepalese territory on June 10, breaching the nation’s airspace. The aircraft remained in Nepal’s skies for a short period before returning to Indian airspace. The incident adds strain to the long‑standing dispute over the Kalapani, Lipulekh and Limpiyadhura regions, which both countries claim as part of their border.
