MSF Warns Official Figures May Understate Ebola Deaths

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) issued a stark warning on Thursday, suggesting that the official death toll from the Congo Ebola crisis could be significantly higher than reported. The organization cited shortcomings in case identification and surveillance, which may conceal additional fatalities. MSF stresses that the current numbers should be treated as a minimum estimate, urging donors and governments to prepare for a larger humanitarian response.
