Moldova Seeks Deeper Trade, Education Links with India

President Sandu revealed that the two leaders reviewed the entire spectrum of bilateral relations, from politics to commerce, health, energy and education. She announced plans to launch a Moldova‑India Business Forum aimed at expanding market access for Moldovan products in India and attracting Indian investment in pharmaceuticals and renewable energy. The president also highlighted that more than 1,400 Indian students are currently enrolled in Moldovan universities, most of them in medical programs, and a new cooperation agreement in higher education is close to signing.
