Milbourn Urges Indians to Unite Beyond Party Lines

American singer Mary Milbourn used her 25‑year public‑service tribute to Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a platform to appeal for national unity. While acknowledging the challenges that India confronts, she stressed that very few nations enjoy consistent, effective leadership for such a long span.

“Let us put aside our affiliations with the BJP or the Congress and stand together for India’s progress,” she urged.

Milbourn praised the Prime Minister’s inclusive approach, noting his readiness to listen to soldiers, farmers, women, seniors, children and people of every faith.

She highlighted India’s status as a democratic country rich with economic opportunities and described Modi as a leader who safeguards those freedoms with honesty and dedication.

Ending with a benediction, Milbourn asked for God’s blessings on Modi, hoping his welfare initiatives continue to benefit every Indian and that equal chances remain available to all.
